This Privacy Policy explains how Chesed Projects ("we", "us") collects, uses, protects, and retains financial information within the CC Charges Tracker application ("the App"). The App is an internal bookkeeping tool used to track our own credit-card and bank transactions.

1. Information We Access

With your explicit authorization through Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"), the App accesses:

We do not collect your online banking username or password. Those credentials are entered directly into Plaid's secure interface and are never visible to us.

2. How We Use the Information

Transaction and account data are used solely for internal bookkeeping, reconciliation, and accounting. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3. How We Protect the Information

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain transaction data for as long as needed for bookkeeping and as required by law, after which it is deleted. You may request deletion of linked-account data and revoke access at any time; see our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.

5. Revoking Access

You can disconnect a linked institution at any time, which stops further data access. You may also manage or revoke Plaid connections through the Plaid Portal.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Plaid to connect to financial institutions. Plaid's handling of your data is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
